My family has always been one for sensible cars.  While I, as a young child and even as a teenager, dreamed of driving a sports car or something fun, my first car was not so sporty.  No, I was behind the wheel of a used Vauxhall Astra.  It was the family car from years ago, and I was less than thrilled about driving it.  However, it accomplished its purpose and got me back and forth to school and work, and most importantly for me, to events with my friends.  After all, having a used family sedan is better than having no car at all!
