I am really thankful that some things have changed over time.  I remember as a kid when would have to get the fields ready months ahead of time for that year’s crops.  We needed to make sure the ground was fertilized, so we would get the horses rounded up and hitch them to a wagon and we would stand at the back pushing the manure out on to the fields.  I am glad someone came up with a new idea manure spreader.  The new spreaders save both time and energy while allowing me to do more fields.  The rate of return is now much better.
