The publication reported that Swillingham confirmed a contract worth $63,000 with Sony in spring 2009 and has been paid 1/2 the sum up front for his services, before Sony backed out. Court documentation indicates that the previous art director of The Face and Dazed & Confused publications also earned $5,000 a day for additional work, totaling a further $36,000. Swillingham’s counsel, Sam Israel, did confirmed the contract included a clause saying Sony owes nothing if the record label isn’t happy with the final project. However , he charged the company for falsely saying the work was unacceptable, particularly since it used the pictures Swillingham made for the album. There are yet comments from Sony per the report. “She Wolf” is Shakira’s 6th studio album and her third English effort.
