So many people are sellouts - they will do or say anything for money.  And it’s obvious too.  They may not realise it (or even care) but it’s hard to win the respect of others if you’re like that.  And it’s also hard to truly enjoy your life that way.  After all, you’re compromising everything just to earn money : your true values, what you enjoy doing, and the feeling of respect from others. 

So do what you love, and what you value. There is such a thing as values based financial planning so don’t feel the need to compromise on your values just to plan for the future.
