I love coming up with creative recipes and this Superbowl I came up with an appetizer smash, everyone loved it. I had some left over phyllo dough and I was trying to think what kind of tasty appetizer I could make without running back out to the store.  I used what I had on hand and it ended up being absolutely delicious! My twelve year old said it was the best pizza we’ve had haha. What you do is simply thaw out the phyllo dough and spread it with a mixture of cream cheese and garlic salt and pepper, then top that with drained diced tomatoes with italian seasoning and some parmesan and mozzarella cheese, I added pepperoni as well. Pinch them into pockets and brush with a little olive oil and then bake as directed. Simple and delicious.
