Don`t Censor Me Blog

As an instructor at a local college, I meet many students who are interested in the medical field but aren’t sure which path to take.  Linda, a student in my biology class, has expressed interest in the surgical technologist training program offered by our college.  I gave her a little background on what the surgical tech does.  She likes the idea of working with patients, preparing the surgical equipment before a surgery, and possibly assisting the surgeon depending on which hospital she decides to work at.  I enjoy helping my students analyze their skills and decide on a career path.
