My friend Joseph has decided he is interested in raising a pig. I asked him if he was referring to a pot-bellied pig for a pet or the type of pig that turns into a hog. I asked Joseph how much it would cost him to raise a pig and he told me he thought it would probably cost him anywhere between $100.00 to $150.00 based on what he’s read about raising a pig. I asked Joseph if he would be selling the pig after it was full grown but he said he hadn’t thought that far into the future.
